Visit To Texas A & M
On March 9, 2013, the Harmony Science Academy- Grand Prairie Leadership Team, attended both Texas A & M and Prairie View A & M Universities. We drove 3 hours to get to the Texas A & M, we headed to the steps of the “Academic Building”, which is the oldest building on campus, and houses some of the education department. After visiting the academic building we set out to the Evans Library, a six story building full of all kinds of books to read and study rooms. This library is the main library of four (4) on the Texas A & M University campus. Next, we drove another hour to tour the Prairie View A & M University campus. We took a tour of the Engineering Building and the Social and Political Science Buildings. After a very long day, we came back to Grand Prairie with the Leadership Team students being motivated to excel academically and work hard while looking forward to college life!
